This starter button guard has a removable screw-on cap to provide 100% protection against accidental starts when your bike is in the garage, being transported or around small children.
The cap is dual purpose. It has an embedded magnet and can be used as your kill switch tether. When not riding, the cap can be screwed onto the starter button guard. Move the cap to the kill switch and you've enabled the ignition system, exposed the starter button and you're ready to ride!
The tether cap has a lip that allows the engine to be killed by using your thumb flip off the cap.
The cap features the TRS logo. The guard and cap are printed in the same color. The logo is hand painted after the cap is printed.
The button guard has a ridge that holds it in a groove that's part of the starter button's rubber cap. To install simply press the guard onto the switch until the guard's ridge "pops" into the switch cap's groove.
This part is 3D printed with PETG plastic. PETG is a tough, durable and chemical resistant. These characteristic make it suitable for many functional parts.
