These clutch spring preload reduction washers feature a 3 mm offset that reduces clutch spring preload, resulting in a noticeably lighter clutch pull. The effect is comparable to removing two clutch springs, but without the risk of warping the aluminum pressure plate or creating uneven pressure across the clutch pack.
I use a set in my Beta 200 and have found the reduced clutch effort to be ideal.
The concept for these washers originated on the Trials Central forums several years ago. They were later popularized in New England by Dan Williams and have since been extensively tested across the Beta Evo model range.
Each kit includes six preload reduction washers and six stainless steel flat-head Allen screws. The washers are precision-machined from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum. An optional clutch cover O-ring (Beta OEM #10.67340.000) is also available.
These washers fit Beta Rev-3 and Evo trials motorcycles. They are not compatible with the Beta Sincro.
